End‑User Licence Agreement

Please read carefully. By downloading, installing or using JetGit GUI (the “Software”), you agree to this End‑User Licence Agreement (“EULA”). If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.

1. About this EULA and distribution

  1. Vendor. The Software is provided by a UK sole trader operating under the trading name “JetGit”.
  2. Marketplace role. The Software is distributed and billed via JetBrains Marketplace. JetBrains (and/or its affiliates) acts as the merchant of record and administers subscriptions, trials, renewals, taxes and refunds in accordance with the JetBrains Marketplace Terms.

2. Licence

  1. Grant. Subject to this EULA and the JetBrains Marketplace Terms, you receive a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Software within supported JetBrains IDEs during a valid subscription or trial, in line with your Marketplace confirmation and any usage limits described there.
  2. Backups. You may make reasonable backup copies for archival purposes.
  3. Ownership. The Software is licensed, not sold. All intellectual property rights remain with the Developer.

3. Duration

  1. Your licence continues only for your subscription period or trial as shown in your Marketplace confirmation. When it ends or is cancelled, you must stop using and remove the Software.
  2. No perpetual or “fallback” rights are granted unless expressly stated by Marketplace confirmation.

4. Acceptable use

  1. You must not: (a) copy (except for installation/backup), modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law; (b) remove or obscure proprietary notices; (c) sub‑licence, rent, lease, sell, assign, or otherwise transfer the Software or your rights; (d) circumvent or attempt to circumvent technical protection measures; or (e) use the Software in breach of applicable laws.
  2. You are responsible for choosing the Software to achieve your intended results and for installing updates supplied via JetBrains Marketplace.

5. Intellectual property

  1. All trademarks, service marks, logos, trade names and other proprietary notices used with the Software are the property of their respective owners. No rights are granted other than those expressly set out in this EULA.

6. Data and privacy

  1. The Software does not intentionally collect personal data beyond what is necessary for functionality within the IDE. Any processing carried out by JetBrains Marketplace or other third parties is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

7. Support, updates and availability

  1. Support. Best‑efforts support via the Marketplace support channel.
  2. Updates. Updates and new versions may be provided from time to time and may require an active subscription.
  3. Availability. The Software may be unavailable at times (maintenance or third‑party platform issues). No uptime commitment.

8. Warranty disclaimer and liability

  1. Warranty disclaimer. The Software is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. Use at your own risk.
  2. Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted, the Developer is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business. The Developer’s total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Software is capped at the greater of £25 or the fees you paid for the Software in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

  1. This EULA may terminate if you materially breach it. On termination, you must stop using and uninstall the Software.

10. Changes

  1. This EULA may be updated from time to time. The latest version is posted at eula.html. Continued use after an update means you accept the changes.

11. Governing law and disputes

  1. This EULA is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be heard by the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights you may have in your place of residence.
